In 1994 (eons ago in terms of the Internet and web based technology) I designed a web site for my wallcovering distribution company. Truth be known, it wasn't actually a web site but 2 web pages with some samples. In those days there was no e-commerce and no way of really communicating over the web other than using e-mail. In just over 1 year, I had generated over $400,000 in new business through commercial accounts that found me... you guessed it, on the Internet. What's even better, most of these accounts were half way around the world; Dubai, Hong Kong and so on. I knew then, that the world was truly a global village and, that this technology was going to change the world forever. In 2000 I went back to school and graduated with honors as a web design engineer. Since then, I have never looked back. I have dealt with local, national and international clients, in small and medium sized businesses, trade associations and chambers of commerce. I have been outsourced by many marketing firms and have done work with several large international clients.
